*Multiple opportunities available for immediate start
Reporting to the Branch Manager – Road Safety Rental, the Operations/Yardperson position will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the yard and fleet, as well as providing assistance as required for all operational aspects of the business, including loading, unloading and deployment of our unique range of road safety barriers, VMS, light towers and traffic products. This position is full time, and requires the occasional night shift.
We are seeking applicants with a high level of self-motivation, work ethic and initiative, the ability to prioritise quality and safety, a high level of attention to detail, as well as a professional manner and outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal applicant will have familiarity with the roads and/or infrastructure industries.
Key Focus
Skills and Experience Required
· Forklift License
· Industry Card (white/red card)
· Knowledge of appropriate loading, stacking and yarding protocols
· Knowledge of the road safety industry/civil construction market and relevant regulatory requirements, including WH&S
· Competent level of computer literacy
· Professional and well presented
· Ability to work under pressure
· Dedication to customer support and service
· Passionate, energetic, and committed to achieving organisation's goals
The ideal applicant will have familiarity with the roads and/or infrastructure industries. Applicants with the following will be highly regarded: medium rigid truck license, dogging license, electrical spotters ticket, and traffic management experience.
